When I saw this button I couldn't believe how similar it was to one I had used earlier in the year. I decided to make a ring for a 'set'
I haven't done anything w/ this set yet, but I really like the metallic lacy design. This is the special button & I'm torn. It could top a collage box or be part of a little pillow, I can't make up my mind. It's too beautiful to rush into something, that's the one thing I'm sure about!
I'd like to thank my partner Kim for the great stash, I loved working w/ these buttons. Another big thanks to Cindy for putting this swap together! Here's the list , enjoy!

ReplyDeleteYou really got some great buttons. Your niece has a wonderful sense of style and color, that hairbow is awesome! Of course, I love the rings for us "grown-up" girls! :)
ReplyDeleteNice to see "my" bird button given such nice consideration! Would love to see what you end up doing with it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great button swap post! I do believe you created the only hair clip - that I've seen so far visiting the blogs. It is just so sweet and I know your niece loves it! And I agree - rings were the way to go with the other buttons - what an amazing coincidence that the carved button happened to match your necklace so well! The bird button really is special...I can see why you are waiting on that one to see what direction to take. I know it will take center stage and really make a beautiful piece of jewelry!
ReplyDeleteThe hair clip is just the cutest. I love the 2 rings as well. I agree that the bird button is just too pretty to rush into something. I think that it would be perfectly at home in a pillow though :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you liked your buttons and I love what you did with them! I can't wait to see what you end up doing with Marti's bird, that one was my favorite too.
